Medal Award Ceremony of RWC will take place at the Melnik Castle. Host of the Ceremony will be Czech Aristocrat George Lobkowicz.
Using 100 points method of OIV, samples are evaluated in 6 different categories:
- white wines (dry and semi-dry)
- rose wines (dry and semi-dry)
- red wines (dry and semi-dry)
- sparkling wines
- dessert wines
- special and fortified wines
Wines will be awarded with Bronze medals, Silver medals, Golden medals and Great Gold medals. The best wine of each category will be awarded with special prize.
Announcement of results of RWC will be held on Thursday 3rd of May at Royal Wine Night at the Mělník Castle.
